Luis Jiménez (1940–2006) was a groundbreaking American sculptor known for his large-scale, vividly colored fiberglass works that blend pop culture, Chicano identity, and social commentary. Born in El Paso, Texas, he drew on Mexican-American heritage, border culture, and political themes to challenge stereotypes and celebrate marginalized voices.
