"Lion" | Elijah Pierce  (1973) 9" X 15.5" X 3.5" Signed and dated on base. Carved wood, paint and glitter. The piece was professionally conserved in 2018 (Excellent condition). The provenance of the "Lion" is exceptional; there is a label from the Corcoran Gallery on the base of the piece dated 1982 and was from the collection of Chuck and Jan Rosenak, Tesque, NM.
